Hi Jess! So nice to see some images of your stuff! It looks like some interesting things are happening with the cutouts, so I hope you'll keep exploring that, as well as issues related to scale and positioning in space.
If you are going to stick with the "wall" concept, I was just wondering how much reading/writing/looking/sketching have you done related to the idea? I don't know how your thought process works, but it might help you to dig deeper into your concept if you do some journaling/brainstorming (if you haven't already) about walls in general... write or sketch out everything you can think of related to walls - where you find them, what they're made, of, what they do, how they function, how people relate to them, how they make people feel, etc. (You could also ask other people to do the same, just to give you some more ideas of things you could investigate.) I always find that exploring a concept like this helps me get beyond the obvious and find inspiration for new things to try. Just a thought!
